Delhi Police Registers Case Over Pro-Khalistani Graffiti On Walls Of Kashmiri Gate Flyover

According to the police, a video came to their notice on Wednesday, in which pro-Khalistan pictures were seen on the walls.

Pro-Khalistan paintings were painted on walls in North Delhi. Picture seen on Kashmiri Gate flyover on Wednesday. An official gave this information on Thursday. Delhi Police has registered a case and is investigating the matter.

According to the police, a video came to their notice on Wednesday, in which pro-Khalistan pictures were seen on the walls. “As per the signage seen in the video, a massive search was launched in the area of North District and graffiti was found on the Yudhishthar Setu flyover coming from Seelampur towards Kashmere Gate,” a senior police officer said.

“An FIR has been registered and investigation has been started in the matter,” the officer said. Earlier, in August, the Delhi Police Crime Branch had arrested two people from Punjab for defacing the walls of Delhi Metro stations with pro-Khalistani messages. The accused were identified as Pritpal Singh alias Kaka (30) and his associate Rajvinder alias Kale, who are associated with banned terrorist organization SFJ.

He was promised US$7,000 for the job by SFJ handler Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.
