CCS building, which is under construction on Janpath Road, suddenly caught fire on Saturday. As soon as the information was received, 13 fire engines immediately reached the spot. Fire department teams are trying to control the fire and extinguish it. Safe evacuation of workers
As soon as the fire was reported, the fire department took immediate action and evacuated all the workers safely. It was ensured that no person came under the grip of fire. Fire department officials are constantly monitoring the situation and trying to prevent the fire from spreading.
Fire also broke out in Pandav Nagar
Earlier, on Thursday, a house in Pandav Nagar area in the eastern part of Delhi caught fire. It was reported that the cause of the fire was leakage from a gas cylinder when a woman was trying to light the stove to cook food. However, there were no casualties in the incident, but a part of the house was reduced to ashes.
Fire department official Yogendra Singh said, “Four fire engines immediately reached the spot. Our teams extinguished the fire and prevented the fire from spreading to nearby buildings.” Initial investigation revealed that the fire was caused by leakage from a gas cylinder.
Woman’s statement
The woman present during the incident said, “I lit a matchstick to light the stove, and suddenly the cylinder caught fire. I immediately grabbed my children and ran out.” He said that although there were no injuries, all the items kept in that part of the house were reduced to ashes.
