The havoc of a high-speed car has been seen in Uttarakhand’s capital Dehradun. An uncontrolled car crushed four workers. This accident happened near Sai temple.
All four workers died on the spot in the accident. During this, two scooter riders standing nearby were also injured, who were immediately sent to the hospital for treatment. Local people informed the police about the accident. After getting information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the bodies in their possession and sent them to Doon Hospital for postmortem.
According to eyewitnesses, the vehicle was moving at a very high speed at the time of the accident and suddenly went out of control and ran over the workers. The driver of the vehicle fled from the spot after the incident. Police is now searching for him.
Treatment of 2 injured is going on in the hospital
On receiving information about the accident, IG Garhwal Rajiv Swaroop, SSP Ajay Singh, SP City and local police reached the spot. Police rushed all the injured to the hospital, where doctors declared four dead. At the same time, two injured are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
Rajpur police station in-charge Peedi Bhatt said that the police is searching for the accused driver. The CCTV cameras installed at the spot are also being checked so that the cause of the accident can be ascertained. According to the information received so far, the Mercedes car has Chandigarh number. Dehradun SSP Ajay Singh said that the car had hit six people, out of which four have died. The condition of two is critical. Police teams are searching for the accused driver. He will be arrested soon.
