Once again there can be turmoil all over the world. Microsoft itself has warned about this. Let us tell you that due to the Microsoft outage that happened recently, there was an uproar all over the world.

Crores of laptops had stopped working, due to which businesses around the world including airports, service providers, telecom industry, media industry and stock market were badly affected. The situation had become such that passengers had to handwrite their boarding passes at the airport. Now Microsoft has said that outages like CrowdStrike can happen again in the future and the company cannot prevent them from happening again.

Microsoft told the reason

Talking about the reason for this, the company also said that the European Commission’s rule that allows third-party vendors to get full kernel access to the OS is the likely reason. As WSJ reported in its report, the legal mandate means that companies like CrowdStrike will have access to the software at the same level as Microsoft engineers.

Meanwhile, experts around the world have raised concerns about this significant impact, which could cost up to $1 billion, as the outage affected about 8.5 million (85 lakh) Windows PCs worldwide. CrowdStrike, on the other hand, indicated that there was no security issue or cyber attack.

However, Apple devices were not affected by the Microsoft outage, as they do not provide such access to third party companies, so now it is up to Microsoft to avoid such attacks.

Beware: Hackers are pretending to be CrowdStrike employees

CrowdStrike has also released a list of websites that may use the company’s name to contact affected PC users and customers for the next few days. These hackers will claim to help you deal with the Blue Screen of Death problem of your Windows PC and will also provide the necessary solutions to make the system run properly.

Computers started restarting repeatedly

Due to the Microsoft outage, hundreds of laptops and computers running on Windows around the world started showing Blue Screen of Death (BSOD) error and due to this the systems suddenly shut down and started restarting repeatedly. The Microsoft outage caused by the CrowdStrike ‘Falcon Sensor’ update badly affected airlines, banks, stock markets and other businesses around the world. Work in many institutions was halted for hours.

The situation had become such that airports around the world said that check-in systems have shut down and services are being operated manually, which is likely to cause delays. All Indian airlines have resorted to X (first Twitter) to inform their passengers that their systems have been affected. During this time, passengers were given handwritten boarding passes.

What is Blue Screen of Death error?

Blue screen error, also known as black screen error or STOP code error, can occur when a serious problem forces Windows to suddenly shut down or restart. In this error, you will see a message saying “Windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.”

These errors can arise from problems in hardware or software. If you have recently installed new hardware and encountered a blue screen error, try shutting down your PC, removing the new hardware and restarting. If restarting is problematic, you can start your PC in Safe Mode.
