Congress Party has released the list of 144 candidates for the upcoming Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections.

Congress Party has released the list of 144 candidates for Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections. The party has fielded State Congress President and former CM Kamal Nath from Chhindwara. At the same time, Congress has fielded Vikram Mastal from Budhni against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh. Mastal played the role of Hanuman in 2008’s Ramayana.
The party has fielded senior leader Govind Singh from Lahar seat. Whereas, ticket has been given to Saheb Singh Gurjar from Gwalior Rural and Satish Sikarwar from Gwalior East.
Congress has fielded Sanjay Shukla against BJP candidate Kailash Vijayvargiya from Indore 1. Chintamani Chowksey has been fielded from Indore 2 and Chintu from Indore 4 and Raja Madhwani has been fielded from Indore 4. A big name in the list is that of KP Singh who has been the MLA from Pichor till now. This time he has been made the candidate from Shivpuri.
There are 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh. Voting will be held in the state on November 17 and the results will be declared on December 3. Notification for Madhya Pradesh elections will be issued on 21 October 2023. Whereas October 30, 2023 is the last date for filing nominations for the elections. Nomination papers will be scrutinized till 31 October 2023. Whereas all the candidates can withdraw their nomination till 2 November 2023. Who will rule the state for the next five years? 5 crore 60 lakh 60 thousand 925 voters will capture their decision in EVMs on 17th November.
