Ahead of Chhattisgarh elections, Naxalites have once again become active. Naxalites, who managed to breach the security despite all restrictions in the state, killed BJP leader Ratan Dubey. The attack has been confirmed by Bastar Range IG Sundarraj P.

He told that this attack took place on BJP leader Ratan Dubey in the insurgency-affected Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh, in which he died due to serious injuries.

According to the information, BJP leader and District Panchayat member Ratan Dubey has been killed in Kosalnar. BJP leader has been murdered by Naxalites in Narayanpur. The attack took place when he had reached Kaushalnar village to seek votes for the BJP candidate.

Naxalites are being kept under close watch amid the election campaign of political parties for the assembly elections. However, meanwhile, the murder of BJP leader Ratan Dubey once again spoils the efforts to control Naxalites. This is not the first time that a leader of a political party who was out on an election campaign has been murdered.

Earlier, BJP leader Birjuram Taram was shot dead in Naxal-affected village Sarkheda of Aundhi area of Mohla-Manpur-Ambagarh Chowki district. He was attacked when he was returning home after Durga Puja. Regarding this attack, it was said that Naxalites had opposed the installation of Durga idol in the area. But Birjuram did not agree, he started Durga Puja, after which he became the target of Naxalites.
