Airport officials said all passengers and crew members disembarked safely from the plane. They said the pilot noticed the tyre burst before the plane landed at the airport and informed the authorities about it.

The tyre of a plane coming from Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur to Chennai burst before landing at the airport on Sunday morning and the authorities had to land it in an emergency situation.
Airport officials said that all the passengers and crew members got off the plane safely. They said that before the plane landed at the airport, the pilot came to know about the tyre burst and he informed the officials about it.
According to the officials, after getting the information from the pilot, the norms prescribed for landing the plane in such circumstances were followed.
They said that after landing the plane in an emergency situation, it was inspected. Officials said that during this time its wheel number-2 was found damaged, many pieces of which were coming out from the inside from the left side.
