An uncontrolled truck crushed laborers walking on the road in Nagar police station area of Nawada district of Bihar. In this incident, three laborers died on the spot, while two laborers were seriously injured.
According to the police, like other days, many laborers were going to Nawada to work in the market on Thursday morning. Meanwhile, an uncontrolled truck coming from Gaya to Nawada went ahead, crushing five laborers.
Nawada city police station in-charge Arun Kumar Singh told IANS that three laborers died on the spot in the accident, while the other two were seriously injured. The injured have been admitted to the hospital with the help of local people. All the laborers are said to be residents of Kevat Nagar.
The deceased have been identified as Prahlad Kumar, Sameer Kumar and Akash Kumar. On the other hand, people angry over the incident created ruckus by blocking the road. Later the police officers pacified the people and removed them from the road.
