Bihar: Heatstroke claims 12 lives amid rising temperatures in state, IMD issues alert

Talking about the whole of Bihar, 52 people have died due to heat stroke in the last 24 hours. The highest heat has been recorded in Buxar and Aurangabad.

The scorching heat continues to wreak havoc in Bihar. The fire raining from the sky is now becoming fatal. 12 people have died in the last 24 hours due to heat stroke in Aurangabad. While the condition of 20 is said to be critical. All of them are being treated in different hospitals of the district.

If we talk about the whole of Bihar, 52 people have died due to heat stroke in the last 24 hours. The highest heat has been recorded in Buxar and Aurangabad. According to the family members of the deceased in Aurangabad, people were taken to the hospital after complaining of high fever, vomiting and diarrhea, where they died. According to doctors, most of the deaths have occurred due to heat stroke. Recently, many school children fainted due to severe heat in Sheikhpura and Begusarai.

In view of the severe heat in Bihar, the state government has ordered to keep all private and government schools, coaching institutes and Anganwadi centers closed till June 8.

On the other hand, the Meteorological Department has not issued a red alert of heatwave anywhere in the country for Friday. The temperature of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Ladakh, Jammu and Kashmir, Chandigarh, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh in the next five days may be 2-4 degrees lower than the current temperature.
