Once again shots have been fired in Bihar over a land dispute. On Tuesday, there was heavy firing between two parties in a land dispute in Phulparas police station area of Madhubani district. In this incident, two people including a woman died on the spot due to bullet injuries, while three others were injured and have been admitted to the hospital.
According to the police, a dispute over land started between two parties on Tuesday in Sudai village of Madhubani district. The dispute quickly turned into a bloody game. During this, there was heavy firing from one side. Five people were shot in this firing, two of whom died on the spot, while three others were injured.
Phulparas sub-divisional police officer Sudhir Kumar said that a land dispute was going on between Sanjay Jha and Ashok Jha for a long time. The controversy started once again on Tuesday. Within no time the dispute took a violent turn with abuses. Fighting started between both the sides.
SDPO said that meanwhile Sanjay Jha started firing, due to which Ashok Jha and Vimala Devi died due to bullet injuries. The deceased are said to be mother and son, who were cousin and aunt of the accused. He said that three other people were injured in this incident, who have been admitted to a hospital for treatment. The police is investigating the entire matter.
