Bihar: A major rail accident was narrowly avoided in Samastipur

A major rail accident was averted in Samastipur, Bihar on Monday. In fact, the Bihar Sampark Kranti Express train going from Darbhanga to New Delhi split into two parts. There is no news of any casualty in this accident. The incident took place near Khudiram Bose Pusa railway station on Samastipur-Muzaffarpur railway section.

Samastipur. A major rail accident was averted on Monday morning. The 12565 Bihar Sampark Kranti Superfast train going from Darbhanga to Delhi split into two parts. After this incident, the passengers were left breathless. Actually, this accident happened on the Samastipur-Muzaffarpur railway section. It is being told that due to the breakage of the coupling of Sampark Kranti Superfast train, the train got divided into two parts. Also, orders were given to stop the rest of the trains coming on this route immediately, so that any accident could be avoided.

Accident averted due to the driver’s presence of mind

After this incident, there was panic among the railway passengers. The pilot of the train showed his presence of mind and stopped the train. After this accident between Khudiram Bose Pura and Karpuri Gram, after the driver informed the nearest station master about the incident, the technical team reached the spot, fixed the broken coupling and the train was sent further. After this, the passengers got relieved.

No casualties

Sonpur division officials have reached the spot as soon as the information of the train splitting into two parts was received. After the accident, the train was standing near Pusa station. As soon as the information of the incident was received, a large number of nearby villagers gathered at the spot. An official of Sonpur Railway Division said that the accident happened due to the breakage of the coupling connecting the engine and the coaches. There is no information about any casualty in the accident, the train has left for Delhi.
