Now only four sections of NDPS will be applicable on Elvish. Due to the lawyers’ strike going on in the District Court of Surajpur for the last three days, the bail plea of Elvish Yadav was not heard.
It is expected on Thursday that Elvish Yadav’s lawyer will file a bail petition. In the FIR registered against Elvish Yadav, the police had told the court on Wednesday that they have added several sections of NDPS.
After this, on the bail petition of Elvish Yadav already filed, the court said that a new petition should be filed. Among the sections which the police had included in the FIR, the court has accepted Section 8/22/29/30/32 of the NDPS Act. The court has removed Section 27/27A.
