A major accident has happened in Jhalawar district of Rajasthan. So far 4 children have died due to the collapse of a government school building, while more than 10 children are injured. This accident happened on Friday in Piplodi village of Manoharthana area of Jhalawar district. According to initial information, the children were studying after the school opened.
During this time suddenly the roof of the school fell on the children. This created a scream in the school. The villagers ran to save the children and pulled out many children from the debris. The police administration was also informed about this incident, after which the administrative staff reached the spot.
The villagers were seen struggling to save the children. In the pictures, local people were seen removing the debris with their hands. After this, the children are being taken out by removing the debris through the machine. So far 4 children have been reported dead, while more than 10 children are injured. All the injured have been admitted to the local hospital.
Education Minister Madan Lal Dilawar has expressed grief over the incident. He spoke to the District Education Officer and Collector and asked them to reach the spot immediately. The Education Minister has also given instructions to get the injured children treated at government expense. Madan Lal Dilawar said that information has been received about the tragic incident in Piplodi village. He confirmed that 3 children died on the spot. Some children are injured, who are being treated in the hospital. The Education Minister said that a high-level inquiry will be conducted into the incident.
Former Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has also expressed grief over the incident. He wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “Many children and teachers are reported to have been injured due to the collapse of a government school building in Manoharthana, Jhalawar. I pray to God for minimum loss of life and speedy recovery of the injured.”
