There is a scene of devastation all around due to floods in Assam. Three more people have died due to floods. The death toll has risen to 15, while more than 6 lakh people are affected by this natural disaster. This information was given in an official bulletin.
The number of affected people in 11 districts of Assam on Friday was 3.5 lakh, although the Assam State Disaster Management Authority release said that the number of affected districts has come down to 10. One person each has been reported dead due to floods and storms in Cachar, Hailakandi and Karimganj districts between 28 and 15 May.

Apart from this, 1,26,813 people have been affected in Hojai district and 1,12,265 in Cachar. A total of 41,564 displaced people have taken shelter in 187 relief camps set up in various districts.
