The number of affected people in 11 districts of Assam on Friday was 3.5 lakh, although the Assam State Disaster Management Authority release said that the number of affected districts has come down to 10. One person each has been reported dead due to floods and storms in Cachar, Hailakandi and Karimganj districts between 28 and 15 May.
