The Muslim side has received a big blow from the Allahabad High Court. Worship will continue in the Vyas ji basement located in the Gyanvapi campus. The court, while upholding the decision of the Varanasi District Court, has rejected the petition of the Muslim side to stop the worship.
Justice Rohit Ranjan Aggarwal had reserved his decision on February 15 after hearing both the sides. Justice Aggarwal said on Monday that the worship will continue in the basement of Vyas ji.

He said that the Allahabad High Court, while giving its verdict on the petition of the Muslim side, has upheld the decision of the District Court to allow worship in the basement of Vyas.

Vishnu Shankar Jain, another lawyer from the Hindu side, said, today the Allahabad High Court rejected both the petitions of Anjuman Arrangements. This means that the puja that was going on will continue. Jain said that if the Muslim side goes to the Supreme Court, we will also present our views there.
It may be noted that earlier the Varanasi District Court had given its verdict in favor of the Hindus in this case, whereas the Muslim side had approached the Allahabad High Court against it.
