फौजी की हैवानियत, 4 साल की बच्ची को चेन से बांधा, पीटा, उल्टा लटकाया; अमरूद तोड़ने पर सजा, हिमाचल प्रदेश के ऊना की घटना, FIR दर्ज
A shocking case of child abuse has come to light in the Una district of Himachal Pradesh. What a retired army soldier did here is truly harrowing. He tied up a four-year-old girl inside his home and subjected her to torture.
He beat her and hung her upside down from the stairs. When a video of the incident surfaced, it sent shivers down everyone’s spine. In the video, the little girl can be heard pleading, “Uncle, save me! Uncle, save me!” The police have registered a case and arrested the accused. Shockingly, the girl’s only offense was that she had plucked a guava from a tree growing in the courtyard of the retired soldier’s home.
According to reports, the victim is the daughter of a migrant family. She had plucked guavas from a tree located near the accused’s house. This act infuriated him. The police stated that the accused allegedly took the girl inside his home, bound her to the stairs with a chain, and physically assaulted her.
Crying Child Pleads to Be Released
A local youth working in the Merchant Navy recorded a video of the incident. Subsequently, the video went viral online. In the footage, the little girl is seen weeping bitterly. She is pleading with the person recording the video to save her. Meanwhile, the accused can be heard attempting to justify his actions, claiming that the girl had stolen the guavas. The person recording the video can also be heard questioning the accused regarding the assault.
Complaint Filed with Childline
A witness named Rohit stated that he had informed both the Child Helpline and the police about the incident. According to him, the accused later apologized to the victim’s family and admitted his mistake. A video of this apology also surfaced, in which he is heard saying, “I made a mistake; I apologize to the child, her family, and you. Such a mistake will not happen again.” The person recording the video can also be heard admonishing him, saying, “You are an army man; you should not have done something like this.” All children are equal—whether they are migrants or our own.
Taking cognizance of this incident, the police questioned the retired army personnel involved, recorded the statements of the victim’s family, and arranged for a medical examination of the young girl. A case has been registered against the accused under the relevant sections of the law, and further investigation is underway.
