In view of this, one day holiday has been declared in all educational institutions and all Anganwadi centers of Champawat, Bageshwar and Nainital.
In-charge District Magistrate/Chairman, Disaster Management Authority Champawat Hemant Kumar Verma has declared a one-day holiday from class 1 to class 12 in all government, non-government and private schools of the district.
Not only this, in view of the warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall in Bageshwar district, Anuradha Pal, District Magistrate/Chairman, Disaster Management Authority has declared a one-day holiday in view of the safety of the students.
Due to heavy rains in Nainital too, the District Magistrate issued an order to keep all the schools in the district closed.
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rains with heavy to very heavy rains at some places in Nainital district today.
