A tragic road accident occurred early Saturday morning on the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh. Six people died on the spot in the accident, while nine others were seriously injured. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and admitted the injured to the hospital for treatment. The bodies of the deceased have been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem examination.

According to reports, the accident took place near milestone 88 on the Yamuna Expressway in the Surir police station area of ​​Mathura. A bus traveling from Noida to Agra had stopped to allow passengers to use the restroom. After the bus stopped, several passengers got off and were relieving themselves on the roadside.

At that moment, a speeding container truck coming from the Noida side ran over the passengers standing on the roadside. The collision was so severe that six people died on the spot, while nine others were injured.

Upon receiving news of the incident, the Surir police and Yamuna Expressway security personnel arrived at the scene. The deceased were sent to the morgue by ambulance, while the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital. The police are investigating the entire incident.
