In Haryana’s Nuh district, there was a ruckus on Monday during the Brajmandal Yatra being taken out by Vishwa Hindu Parishad and Matrushakti Durga Vahini. On the news of the participation of Monu Manesar, accused of killing Nasir and Junaid of Rajasthan, in the yatra, the local youth got agitated and gathered to register a protest, then fierce stone pelting started on both sides. Although it has not been officially confirmed.

During the uproar, stones were also pelted at the police. The miscreants set dozens of vehicles on fire. Seeing the worsening of the situation, the Nuh district administration has called additional forces from nearby Palwal, Faridabad and Rewari districts and also imposed section 144 in the district and shut down internet service in the entire district. Along with this, the administration has also sealed the boundaries of Nuh district.

According to the information received, the Brajmandal Yatra being taken out by Vishva Hindu Parishad and Matrushakti Durga Vahini had left for Ferozepur-Jhirka from Nalhad Shiva temple in Nuh. As soon as the yatra reached near the Tiranga Park, on seeing a group of people already gathered there, a dispute started between the two sides and stone pelting started on sight. During this, there is also news of firing from both the sides. A day ago, cow protector Monu Manesar had released a video giving information about joining his team in this journey. However, Monu did not reach the yatra till there was an uproar.

As the uproar escalated, the market of the entire Nuh city was closed. First of all, the shops in the area around Tiranga Park, the site of the uproar, were closed. Then, within no time, the shopkeepers closed the other markets of the city including the main market of Nuh city. Due to the burning of several dozen vehicles, black smoke is visible in the sky of the city.

As word spread that violence might break out during the VHP’s visit, several groups of youths from the surrounding rural areas marched towards Nuh town. These armed groups ransacked and looted the vehicles coming along the way. The miscreants also pelted stones at the police at many places. After the ruckus in Nuh, the situation worsened to such an extent that there is a feeling of fear all around. During this, the matter of looting from some traders in Nuh grain market has come to the fore.

On the other hand, on the Nuh incident, CM Manohar Lal Khattar’s OSD Jawahar Yadav said that the police is doing its job. The police of the surrounding districts have reached Nuh. People are appealed not to come out of their homes so that action can be taken against anti-social elements. If the common people stay at home, it will be easier for the police-administration to deal with the rioters.

After which the police team from Bharatpur in Rajasthan had reached Nuh to nab Monu.
