A shooting on Lucille Avenue in California on Saturday night (November 29) spread panic throughout the area. Two people were killed and at least five were injured. The injured were immediately rushed to the hospital. According to the San Juaquin County Sheriff’s Office, the case is still under investigation and no arrests have been made.
Following the incident, police have increased security in the area. Officers are collecting evidence from the scene and interviewing witnesses. The motive and cause of the shooting are currently unknown.
Children Also Injured in the Shooting
Scanner reports reveal that children were also injured in the shooting. According to Live Dispatch, a 9-year-old child, a 12-year-old child, and a 23-year-old man were injured in the attack. The 12-year-old child was tried for resuscitation by administering CPR at the scene. Police immediately closed nearby streets for safety reasons.
The search for the attackers continues.
Some reports claim that a high-speed chase between police and the suspects followed the shooting, although this has not been officially confirmed. The identities of the attackers or potential suspects have not yet been revealed.
