15 devotees got electrocuted when the electric wire broke and fell on the devotees who had come to visit the Shiva temple in Dev Talab assembly constituency of Rewa district of Madhya Pradesh. The condition of four of them is serious.
All have been sent to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital in Rewa apart from Dev Talab’s hospital for treatment. According to the information received, thousands of devotees reached the ancient Shiva temple of Dev Talab assembly constituency to have darshan due to it being a Monday in the month of Sawan.
Meanwhile, an electric wire broke and fell on the devotees and more than 15 devotees came under its grip. All of them got electrocuted and the condition of some is serious. All these injured have been sent to Sanjay Gandhi Hospital of Dev Talab, Mau and Rewa for treatment.
State President of Congress and former Chief Minister Kamal Nath tweeted, “The news was received that more than 15 devotees were injured after an electric wire fell on the devotees in the Dev Talab Shiv Temple complex of Rewa district.” I wish all the devotees a speedy recovery.
