According to the information, on Sunday morning, 19-year-old student Raj Krishna was shot. On receiving the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the nearest hospital. However, the doctors of the hospital declared him dead. Patna Police said that unknown criminals had shot and injured the youth.
Patna Police told on the social media platform ‘X’, “On the morning of August 17, there was information about a youth being shot and seriously injured by unknown criminals near Saristabad Mode under Gardanibagh police station. On the information, immediate action was taken by the police. After reaching the spot, the injured youth was taken to the hospital for treatment, where he was declared dead by the doctor.” Patna Police further wrote, “The incident is being investigated by collecting forensic evidence with the help of FSL and dog squad team at the spot.”
Central SP City Diksha said, “There was some conversation between the delivery people here. During this, an incident happened in which a young man was shot and he died during treatment. Investigation is going on. FIR is being registered. We are investigating whether it was a mutual dispute or something else. The young man was unmarried. The name of the deceased is Raj Krishna.”
Sub-Divisional Police Officer Anu Kumari said in a conversation with the media that at around 9 o’clock there was information about the youth being shot. He said that teams are present on the spot to investigate the incident. Further action is going on in the case.
Earlier, on August 14, a youth was stabbed to death in Patna. According to Patna Police, some boys stabbed a young man with a knife in Chamdoria Kila Road area and seriously injured him. The injured was identified as Sunny Kumar, who was rushed to the hospital after receiving information. However, he died during treatment. However, Patna police claimed to have arrested one of the accused within 12 hours.
