Uttar Pradesh is affected by floods, so far a total of 383 houses have been damaged due to the floods. The government has deployed around 500 boats and motorboats to help the people.

Sangam city Prayagraj is currently battling the floods of Ganga and Yamuna rivers. On Saturday, the water level of both the rivers crossed the danger mark of 84.734 meters. By Sunday afternoon, this level was recorded about one meter above.
The water of Ganga and Yamuna is no longer limited to low-lying areas, but has also engulfed many residential colonies.
People in areas like Rajapur, Chhota Baghada, Ganganagar are forced to leave their homes. Some people are going to safer places on foot, while some are going by boats.
Local people say that the current situation reminds them of the terrible flood of 1978, when the water level reached 88 meters.
At the same time, in 2013 also the water level was recorded up to 86 meters, due to which the city was badly affected.
At the same time, in view of the situation, NDRF and SDRF teams have been active in the flood-affected areas for the last three days. So far thousands of people have been evacuated to safer places.
The district administration has set up control rooms and relief camps in flood-affected areas. Food, drinking water and medicines have been arranged in these camps.
In Ganganagar colony, water has filled up to the inside of the houses. People had to leave their homes after packing their essentials. Many families are now taking shelter with relatives or in government camps.
According to the irrigation department, the trend of increase in water level is continuing at present. In such a situation, the administration has kept all the concerned departments on alert mode and is constantly monitoring the situation.
