On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and recovered the bodies, which have been sent for post-mortem. The reason behind the suicide is not yet known.
Family committed suicide in a rented house
According to the information, this family was from Dholka, but was living in a rented house in Bagodra for some time. Where all the members of the family committed suicide collectively. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the incident was also reported to Ahmedabad Rural SP, Local Crime Branch, Special Operations Group and Dhandhuka ASP and action was initiated.
The family was going through financial crisis
The family consisted of husband-wife, two daughters and a son. The bodies of the deceased have been sent to Bagodra Community Health Center for post-mortem. It is being told that the family was going through financial crisis. The deceased husband used to work as a rickshaw puller and was the only worker in the house.
Family members’ mobiles were switched off for two days
Investigation has revealed that the family members’ mobiles were switched off two days before the day of suicide. The SP investigating the case has informed that the family has committed suicide by consuming poison, but the reason behind it is not yet clear. Police is engaged in investigation.
