COVID cases crossed 4000 in iNDIA, 5 died in last 24 hrs

Five people have died of corona virus during the last 24 hours. The number of Kovid-19 cases has increased to 4,026. The five patients who died are from Kerala, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and West Bengal. All these patients were already suffering from health problems.

According to the Ministry of Health, at present there are 393 active cases of corona in Delhi, 397 in Gujarat, 311 in Karnataka, 1416 in Kerala, 494 in Maharashtra, 138 in UP, 215 in Tamil Nadu and 372 in West Bengal. At the same time, the death of an 80-year-old man has been reported in Kerala from Corona, who was suffering from severe pneumonia and acute respiratory distress syndrome as well as diabetes, hypertension and coronary artery disease.

In Tamil Nadu, a 69-year-old woman suffering from type 2 diabetes and Parkinson’s disease succumbed to the virus. The death of a 43-year-old woman was reported in West Bengal, who was suffering from acute coronary syndrome, septic shock and acute kidney injury.

Talking about Maharashtra, there have been 2 more deaths due to Kovid. According to the Health Department, these deaths have occurred in Kolhapur and Satra. Both the patients were suffering from other serious illness. With this, the number of deaths due to Kovid in the state this year has increased to 10. On Monday, 59 new patients of Kovid 19 were found in the state, out of which 20 cases were found in Mumbai. With this, the number of Kovid infected patients in the state has increased to 873, out of which 483 patients are from Mumbai alone. Kovid is increasing continuously in Mumbai. So far 369 Kovid infected people have also been cured in the state.

The reason for the increase in new cases of corona virus is the NB.1.8.1 sub-variant, which is the Omicron variant of Kovid-19. The Indian Council of Medical Research has confirmed that the new strain spreads rapidly and is highly mutable, but it causes mild illness. Common symptoms include fever, cough, sore throat, fatigue, headache, body ache, runny nose and loss of appetite. The virus is similar to seasonal flu.
