The wedding procession had come from Baruhatu village of Kuchai to Chogagutu of Tamar

The wedding bus was coming from Baruhatu village of Kuchai police station area of ​​​​Seraikela district to Chogagutu of Tamar police station area. Before entering the village, the bus came in contact with the electric wire. 3 people sitting on the roof of the bus died on the spot. 5 other people were seriously injured.

As soon as people touched the electric wire, there was screaming on the roof of the bus

After getting electrocuted, there was screaming among the people on the bus. Immediately the bus was stopped and the people on board were safely brought down. 5 injured people were taken to the hospital. Seeing their critical condition, all were referred to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in the capital Ranchi.

3 people including a minor died on the bus itself

The deceased have been identified as Dinesh Singh Munda (36), Munda Munda (25) and Jiten Singh Munda (12). The names of the injured are Lambaar Munda, Shankar Munda, Subhash Munda, Upen Munda and Charan Munda. The baraatis said that when the girl’s family got the news of this accident, they too became sad.

80 to 90 people were on the bus

The elders of both the sides sat together and talked and decided that the marriage should not be stopped. After this, the marriage was somehow completed. People said that there were 80 to 90 people on the bus in which the baraatis had come. The bus was full inside. A large number of people were also sitting on the roof of the bus.
