Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami paid tribute to Kedarnath MLA Shaila Rani Rawat, who passed away in Dehradun this morning

Dehradun: After the death of BJP MLA from Kedarnath Assembly, Shailarani Rawat, tribute was paid to her at the Uttarakhand BJP headquarters on Wednesday. Her body was kept at the headquarters for the last darshan. Since morning, other parties including BJP and common people paid tribute to her by paying their last respects. Chief Minister Dhami, cabinet ministers and all the party workers condoled his death.
BJP MLA from Kedarnath assembly of Rudraprayag district Shailarani Rawat died at Max Hospital in Dehradun at around 10:30 pm on Tuesday night. Shailarani Rawat was on ventilator in Max Hospital for two days. She could not recover even after surgery after a spinal fracture. And she breathed her last late at night.
He was paid tribute by Chief Minister Dhami, Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, Minister Rekha Arya, Minister Saurabh Bahuguna, Minister Subodh Uniyal, Minister Premchand Aggarwal at the BJP state headquarters. Many BJP MLAs, officials and workers also paid tribute to him.
It is worth noting that the body of the late MLA will be taken from Dehradun to his home district Rudraprayag this evening. A tribute and condolence meeting has been organized at BJP District Office Rudraprayag at 4 pm. While a tribute and condolence meeting will be held at Agastyamuni residence at 6 pm. After this, on the next day i.e. on July 11, after the tribute and condolence meeting at the Sports Stadium Agastyamuni, at 11 am, the body will be duly cremated at Triveni Ghat Vidyapeeth Guptkashi Kalimath Road as per the last wish of MLA Shailrani Rawat.
