Dr. Yogesh Chandra Paul brutally murdered by slitting his throat in a posh area of South Delhi, police engaged in investigation.

A 63-year-old doctor was murdered by slitting his throat in Jangpura area of Delhi. The deceased has been identified as Yogesh Chandra Paul. He was a General Physician (doctor) by profession. The police received information about the murder of a doctor in a posh area of Delhi at 6.50 pm on Friday evening. The police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.
The police found the doctor’s body lying in the kitchen on the first floor of the house in C Block of Jangpura. At the scene of the incident, the hands and legs of the deceased doctor were tied and he was murdered by slitting his throat. Prima facie, the police are suspecting murder after robbery in the house.
The deceased’s wife is also a doctor in Delhi government.
Police investigation revealed that the deceased’s wife Neena Paul is a doctor in the Delhi government. Police suspect that 3 to 4 people came into the house and murdered the doctor due to robbery. At the time of the robbery and murder, the miscreants had locked Dr. Paul’s dog in the room. Police are examining CCTV footage of the area in connection with the murder of a 63-year-old doctor.
The police is also interrogating the doctor’s wife in connection with the incident. Police say that teams have been formed to search for the accused. The accused will be arrested soon.
Young man shot dead in Jaffrabad area
On the other hand, a 34-year-old youth was shot dead in Delhi’s Jafrabad area at 7.30 pm on Friday evening. The murder incident took place at street number 6, Chauhan Bangar of Jafrabad. The deceased youth has been identified as Nazim. There are 4 criminal cases registered against deceased Nazim in Delhi and UP including murder, robbery and NDPS Act.
The deceased was out on parole
He was convicted in a robbery case. Came out on parole about a month ago. At around 7:30 pm on Friday evening, Nazim was shot multiple times by at least 3 boys in Gali No. 6, Chauhan Bangar, Jafrabad. He died on the spot.
