Soumya was preparing for NEET while staying in Kota, but allegedly due to mental stress, she took the step of suicide. After receiving information about the student committing suicide, the police reached the spot and seized the body and kept it in the mortuary. Police have informed the family about this incident. Police say that the reason for suicide is being investigated. A day earlier, a coaching student from Uttar Pradesh had committed suicide by hanging himself from the fan.
Kota SP Amrita Duhan said in a statement, “Information was received from Kota CT that a girl had committed suicide, after which the police team immediately reached the spot and the FSL team was also sent to the spot. The family members have also been informed about the matter. The girl was a resident of UP. Came to study in Kota in the year 2023.”
