CM Sukhu made these big announcements in the budget
Daily wage of MNREGA workers increased: CM has increased the daily wage of workers working in MNREGA by Rs 60. That means now they will get Rs 300 instead of Rs 240 per day. An amount of Rs 3 lakh will be given to MNREGA labourers, disabled singles and widowed women whose income is less than Rs 2.5 lakh and who have completed 100 days of work.
MSP on milk
Sukhu announced increase in the minimum support price (MSP) of cow and buffalo milk. Presenting his second budget, he said that the MSP on cow milk has been increased from Rs 38 to Rs 45 per liter and on buffalo milk from Rs 38 to Rs 55 per liter.
Farmers’ income will increase
Now a new scheme named Rajiv Gandhi Startup will be started in Himachal. Under this scheme, Rs 680 crore will be spent on natural farming. 10 farmers will be selected from every panchayat. 36 thousand farmers in the state will be included under this scheme. 20 quintals of grains will be purchased from each family at MSP. The youth will be motivated for natural farming.
Increase in diet money of policemen
As Finance Minister, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu has announced that in the budget of the year 2024-25, the monthly diet money received by the police is being increased by 5 times. Now police personnel will get diet money of Rs 1000 instead of Rs 210. 18 thousand policemen of the state will benefit from this.

He announced to increase the amount of Rs 3 crore to Rs 5 crore for players who win gold medals in the Olympic Games. At the same time, in the Commonwealth Games, it was announced that the amount of Rs 50 lakh for winning gold will be increased to Rs 3 crore, for winning silver, the amount of Rs 30 lakh will be increased to Rs 2 crore and for winning bronze, the amount of Rs 20 lakh will be increased to Rs 1 crore.
Government will buy wheat at Rs 40 and maize at Rs 30 per kg: CM said that Himachal government will naturally buy wheat at Rs 40 and maize at Rs 30 per kg. The government will also make a plan to promote coarse grains.
Six thousand nursery teachers will be recruited

free treatment for the elderly
CM said that farmers and elderly people above 70 years of age will be provided free medical facilities. Old people who do not pay income tax will also get free treatment.
