The health of more than 100 children deteriorated after eating mid-day meal at a government school in Bagaha in Bihar’s West Champaran district on Monday. Everyone was immediately admitted to the hospital. In this case, the District Magistrate has ordered an investigation and has said that action will be taken against the culprits.
According to the police, more than 100 children complained of dizziness along with vomiting, diarrhea and stomach ache after eating midday meal at Bansgaon Parsauni Middle School on Monday. As soon as the parents got information about this, they reached the school and the sick children were immediately taken to the hospital.
West Champaran District Education Officer Rajnikanth said that preliminary investigation has revealed a case of kerosene oil spilling in the food. The entire matter is being investigated. Most of the students have been discharged from the hospital. District Magistrate Dinesh Kumar Rai said that all the children are out of danger. The District Education Officer has been ordered to investigate. Whoever is found guilty in any case, action will be taken against him.
