The troubles of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan have increased further. The court has sentenced Imran Kha to 10 years in jail. He has been given this punishment in the cipher case. Since his ouster from power in Pakistan, Imran Khan’s troubles are not showing any signs of diminishing. The cipher case in which Imran Khan has been convicted is a national security related matter. Imran Khan is accused of making personal use of intelligence information.
After Pakistan lost power, Imran Khan had alleged that America was behind his ouster. He had said that Pakistan Embassy in Washington had sent him a cable (secret information). It is alleged that Imran Khan had made the controversial diplomatic conversations public for political gains. It was called ‘cipher’. And in this case he has been sentenced to 10 years.
