A horrific road accident took place amid dense fog on the Agra Lucknow Expressway in Kannauj, Uttar Pradesh. The speeding car rammed into a truck parked on the expressway from behind. Two people traveling in the car died on the spot. The collision was so severe that the car was blown to pieces. As soon as the information about the accident was received, the police reached the spot and took both the bodies into their custody and kept them in the mortuary of the medical college. It is being told that the people in the car were going from Noida to Bihar. After identifying the deceased, the police have informed their families.
It is being told that the truck broke down on the expressway. UPEDA personnel did not remove the damaged truck from the road in time. In such a situation, this accident happened due to fog, in which two youths lost their lives. Vehicles run at very high speed on Lucknow Agra Expressway. In such a situation, when there is dense fog, accidents often happen. It is the responsibility of UPEDA personnel to remove the vehicles parked on the road. They also keep getting it removed. Due to fog, vehicles often collide with vehicles parked on the roadside.
