Till Sunday night, bank officials at three branches of State Bank of India in Bolangir, Titlagarh and Sambalpur had counted around Rs 353 crore by deploying more than 3 dozen counting machines and 80 officials. We will interrogate the excise department officials.” Meanwhile, politics has heated up over the record cash seizure and BJP in Jharkhand has protested at all the district headquarters of the state demanding the intervention of the central investigating agency. Demanding arrest, MLA CP Singh said, “Corruption is in the DNA of the Congress. Congress leaders are engaged in corruption competition. The Congress has used this money for horse-trading after the announcement of election results in three states recently.
