Earthquake tremors were felt at 1:13 pm. The depth of the earthquake was 10 kilometers below the ground. It is being told that tremors were also felt at some places in Himachal Pradesh adjacent to Punjab.
Earlier on Tuesday evening at 6.52 pm, earthquake tremors were felt in Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir. Whose intensity was 3.5. Last Monday, an earthquake of 5.6 magnitude occurred in many areas of Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand. Delhi too has been hit by earthquakes twice within a week. At least 157 people were killed and more than 160 were injured in Nepal due to the recent 6.4 magnitude earthquake.
