Senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan and his son were suddenly shifted from Rampur jail in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday night. According to reports, Azam Khan has been shifted to Sitapur jail. During this, Azam Khan refused to sit in the police car. He said that we may also have an encounter. However, later, after pressure from the police, he sat in the car. A video of Azam Khan being shifted from Rampur jail has also surfaced, in which he is seen talking to the police.
Azam Khan, Abdullah Azam and Tanzin Fatima, all three were lodged in Rampur jail. Now Azam Khan and Abdullah have been shifted. However, Tanzin Fatima will remain in Rampur jail. It has been told that Azam Khan has been sent to Sitapur jail and Abdullah Azam has been sent to Hardoi jail. However, there is no official confirmation regarding this.
