Vehicle owners traveling on the Bareilly-Lucknow highway in Uttar Pradesh have been hit by inflation. NHAI has implemented new toll tax rates at Faridpur Toll Plaza located on the highway. In such a situation, traveling to Shahjahanpur, Sitapur, Lucknow has become expensive. According to statistics, more than 18 thousand vehicles pass through here in 24 hours. On an average, it collects toll tax of Rs 30 lakh per day. After the increase in tox, Rs 34 lakh will be collected per day. However, for people living within a radius of 20 kilometers from the toll plaza, the monthly pass rate will remain only Rs 330. There has been no increase in this.
NHI increases Faridpur toll rates
According to NHAI Projector Director BP Pathak, with the commencement of Roja Bypass, the journey on National Highway has increased by 10 kilometers. Therefore the toll rates have been revised. He told that on an average 18 thousand vehicles pass in 24 hours. About Rs 30 lakh is received as toll tax. After the increase in toll tax, the revenue will now increase by Rs 3 to 4 lakh.
