The family of the victim of Uttar Pradesh’s Unnao rape case has alleged security threat in Delhi. The victim’s sister has released CCTV footage and sought protection from Delhi Police, claiming to have conducted a recce of the house of the people of former BJP leader Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who is jailed in a rape case.

The family has released a CCTV footage, alleging that two masked men were seen recceing their Delhi home on the night of September 2. The victim’s sister posted the video on social media and alleged that they were the men of former BJP MLA Kuldeep Singh Sengar, who is serving a jail sentence in the Unnao rape case.

According to the report, this house in Delhi belongs to the victim’s uncle Mahesh Singh, who is in jail in different cases. But due to security reasons, the victim’s family has been living in this house since 2018. The victim’s sister also said that we have informed Delhi Police about the incident. I have also posted the video on social media as well. Family members living in Delhi are scared.

The victim’s sister said that the masked men had come in a car. They appeared not to be afraid even of the CRPF jawans deployed for security. They simply turned around and left. We are sure that some conspiracy is being hatched by Sengar, who was recently out on parole for his daughter’s wedding.

It is noteworthy that the Unnao rape case took place in the year 2017, in which the then BJP MLA Sengar was the main accused. The case took a serious turn when Sengar’s brother allegedly beat the victim’s father to death in police custody. Sengar has been convicted in this case and is currently lodged in Delhi jail. After the matter gained prominence, BJP had distanced itself from Sengar by expelling him from the party.
