नूंह हिंसा: फिर यात्रा निकालने पर अड़ा VHP, पुलिस पर भी हमला, इलाके में तनाव

The violence that broke out in Haryana’s Nuh district on July 31 may have stopped, but the fire that broke out from that violence still seems to be increasing. The latest situation is that once again internet service, SMS services have to be stopped in Nuh. The reason behind this is the Brajmandal Jal Abhishek Yatra of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). Even after not getting the permission of the administration, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) is adamant on taking out this Brajmandal Yatra. Due to which once again there is an atmosphere of tension in the area.

On the other hand, due to this decision of VHP, the hands and feet of the administration are also seen swollen. The administration shut down the internet in the area from 25th August i.e. Friday evening itself, which will remain in force till 29th August. Significantly, earlier the Khattar government had banned the internet only after the violence, which was restored on 11 August. At the same time, the crackdown on the people involved in this violence is also going on, although the police of the Khattar government seems helpless in arresting the suspects.

In fact, a police team was attacked during a raid in a village in Haryana’s Nuh district in an attempt to arrest a suspect involved in the 31 July communal violence. Let us tell you, this incident took place in Singar village when the team of Crime Branch Punhana Unit had gone to arrest the suspect named Irshad. According to the police, when Irshad was caught from the bus stand, the local people present there got into an argument with the crime branch team and they rescued Irshad and fled towards the village.

The unit called additional forces, including women police personnel, and entered the village, where a group of women attacked them with stones. Three jawans including sub-inspector Vineet and constable Amar Singh were injured in the attack. Police had to resort to aerial firing to disperse the attackers. So far eight people, including five women, have been arrested, while FIRs have been registered against 15 people. But Irshad is currently absconding.

Let us tell you, on August 23, the Nuh administration had refused permission for the Braj Mandal Jal Abhishek Yatra of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP). Confirming this, Nuh Deputy Commissioner Dhirendra Khadgata had said that the permission for VHP’s visit has been cancelled. The administration official had said that the decision to deny permission was based on intelligence inputs and suggestions from local peace committees. They say that the situation in the district is still tense.

Hindu groups under the banner of Sarva Hindu Samaj held a mahapanchayat on August 13 at Pondari village in Palwal district, in which they said they would resume the Braj Mandal Yatra on August 28. A VHP leader said, “We know that the permission has been rejected by the administration but the members of the organization have said that they will continue the yatra.”

Six people, including two home guards and a cleric, were killed in a clash following a VHP procession in Nuh.
