After the cloudburst, the water level of the Pranmati river started flowing above the danger mark. Along with this, the Pindar river also came in spate. The water of the rivers entered people’s houses and Shiva temples. This has caused huge damage. Many houses have been damaged.

Due to continuous rains in the district, the local people have suffered a lot. Now every drop of rain is creating an atmosphere of panic among the people. Late night in Tharali area, the local police and administration team made people aware to move to safer places. There is no news of any casualties so far. But people’s houses and land have been heavily damaged.

Near Tharali town is the flow area of Pindar river. Even before this, Pindar river has caused huge damage in this area many times. In such a situation, due to continuous rains and rising water level of Pindar river, an atmosphere of fear has been created among the people. Police administration and local youth are constantly alerting people about their safety.

Social worker Mahavir Bisht said that the heavy rains in the area have caused a lot of damage. Link roads connecting dozens of villages have been damaged. Many houses have come under threat. Shiva temple has also come in the grip of debris due to late night rains.
