Two people were injured in a leopard attack in Rajasthan’s Tonk district on Monday, officials said.

Two people, including a liquor shop salesman, were injured in a leopard attack in Rajasthan’s Tonk district on Monday, officials said.
Officials stated that the incident occurred in Todaraisingh town, where the leopard first attacked a man named Fateh Lal Koli (40) outside the liquor shop. It then entered the shop and attacked the salesman, Sanjay Gurjar (25). According to the police, the salesman managed to escape the shop.
The injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Upon receiving information about the incident, Forest Department and police officials arrived at the scene and initiated efforts to capture the leopard. A specialized team trained to tranquilize the animal was also dispatched to the location.
A large crowd gathered outside the liquor shop following the incident, creating an atmosphere of panic in the area.
According to officials, details of the entire incident were obtained from CCTV footage recorded at the shop.
