On Thursday morning, miscreants brutally shot dead a gym trainer in Hansi, Hisar (Haryana). A young woman present at the scene was also injured in the attack. The entire incident was captured on CCTV, showing an assailant firing repeatedly within a span of just five seconds.
According to reports, the deceased has been identified as 25-year-old Kapil. Originally from Dalamwala village in Jind district, he had been running ‘Red Gym’ in the Shanti Niketan area of Hansi for the past three years. He had recently entered into an inter-caste love marriage; his wife is reportedly currently staying with her family.
Reports indicate that Trainer Kapil was conducting a warm-up session for youths outside the gym when two masked assailants on a motorcycle suddenly stopped in front of the premises. Before anyone could comprehend the situation, the attackers targeted the trainer and opened rapid fire at his back. He collapsed on the spot after being hit. During the attack, a young woman named Shikha, who was exercising there, was also struck by gunfire; she sustained bullet wounds to her shoulder and leg. Although the injured woman was admitted to a private hospital in Hisar, she could not be saved.
