Today is the third Monday of Sawan. On this occasion, a major accident has happened during the Kanwar Yatra in Hajipur, Bihar. Kanwariyas were carrying DJ in Sultanpur village of Industrial Police Station area. The DJ was very high and there was a high tension wire, in which the DJ got stuck. During this, 8 Kanwariyas died and many got burnt. The injured Kanwariyas have been admitted to the hospital, where they are undergoing treatment. SDPO Om Prakash has given this information.
It is being told that due to the uneven road of the village, the tractor-trolley came in contact with the high tension line passing above the road. The Kanwariyas riding on the trolley got scorched due to the current. The villagers held the electricity department responsible for the accident and accused them of negligence. After getting the information about the accident, SDM and police officers reached the spot. During this, the villagers created a lot of ruckus.
