A tragic accident took place on Wednesday early morning on the Dausa-Manoharpur highway in the Raisar police station area of Jamwaramgarh in Jaipur. Five people, including the newly married bride and groom, died tragically in a head-on collision between a truck and a passenger vehicle near Bhatkabas village.

Jaipur: The havoc of high speed was seen once again in Rajasthan. 5 people including the bride died in a horrific road accident in Raisar police station area of Jaipur rural area this morning. At the same time, 8 baraatis including the groom were injured. The treatment of the injured is going on in NIMS Hospital located in Chandwaji.
According to the police, the accident took place on Dausa-Manoharpur National Highway 148 near Bhatkabas village of Raisar police station area at 6 am on Wednesday. The vehicle full of baraatis suddenly went out of control and rammed into the container coming from the front. 5 people including the bride died on the spot in the accident.
On receiving the information of the accident, Raisar police station reached the spot. Police admitted all the injured to NIMS hospital. At the same time, the bodies of the deceased have been kept in the mortuary of the hospital. Police has sent information to the relatives. The post-mortem of the bodies will be done after the arrival of the relatives.

According to the information, the baraatis from Guddapok police station Udaipurwati district Jhunjhunu were returning from Madhya Pradesh with the bride in a passenger car via Dausa Manoharpur highway. Near Bhattakabas cut of Raisar police station area on the highway, a container coming from the front hit a truck while overtaking it. In the accident, five people including the bride Bharti Meena (18), resident of Manjali district Saidol Madhya Pradesh, Jeetu Kumawat (33) and Subhash Meena (28) Aspur police station Shrimadhopur district Sikar, Ravi Kumar Meena (17) Bugala police station Gudhagaurji Jhunjhunu died. At the same time, eight people are seriously injured.
Reason for the accident came to light
According to the information, a container full of medicines was going from Haryana to Indore. Then a car driver tried to overtake on Dausa-Manoharpur National Highway 148 near Bhatkabas village at a distance of 500 meters from the police station. In such a situation, the car rammed into the container coming from the front.
Screams after the accident
The people in the car were returning with the bride after the wedding in Madhya Pradesh. At the time of the accident, there were about 13 people in the car. Out of which 5 people including the bride and groom died. After the accident, there was screaming and crying on the spot and the happiness of the wedding turned into mourning. After a lot of effort, the police took the injured out of the car and admitted them to the hospital.
Jamwaramgarh CE Pradeep Yadav, ASP Traffic Narayan Sharma and SDM Lalit Meena reached NIMS Hospital. The officials met the injured in the accident. Also expressed condolences to the dead.
Jam after the accident
After the accident, a long jam occurred on the National Highway. With the help of a crane, the police got both the vehicles to the side of the road. After this, the traffic was made smooth. In such a situation, there was a jam on the highway for about half an hour.
