A tragic road accident occurred in Uttarakhand’s Tehri district. A bus fell into a ravine near Kunjapuri. Five people were reportedly killed in the accident. Twenty-three people were seriously injured and have been admitted to a nearby hospital. The bus was reportedly carrying pilgrims from Gujarat and Delhi.
Upon receiving information about the accident, police and administration teams arrived at the scene and began a rescue operation. Several people were seriously injured in the accident, and the death toll is likely to rise.
It is reported that the bus passengers were traveling from Gujarat and Delhi to visit Kunjapuri. The accident occurred on the way, just before Kunjapuri. The distance from Rishikesh to Kunjapuri is approximately 23 kilometers.
According to reports, there were 28 people on board. Bus number Uk07pa 1769 fell into a ravine approximately 70 meters deep near Hindolakhal. ASP JR Joshi of Tehri Garhwal confirmed that five people died in the accident. He said that some of the passengers were from Gujarat and some from Delhi. Police are currently investigating the matter.
