A major accident has happened in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh. A rice mill caught fire here. The entire mill was filled with smoke. 5 workers have died due to suffocation, while the condition of three people is said to be critical.
The matter is of Rajgarhia Rice Mill located in Dargah police station area. According to the information, a sudden fire broke out in Rajgarhia Rice Mill, many workers were present in the mill at the time of the incident. It is being told that due to the fire, the mill was filled with smoke, due to which the condition of many people deteriorated.
CMS Doctor MM Tripathi said that eight people were admitted to the hospital, out of which five people have died, while three are undergoing treatment in the hospital. This mill is located in Dargah police station area. The remaining three patients are being treated under the supervision of the doctor. At present, the reason for the fire in the rice mill has not been clear and the police is investigating the matter.
Most of the incidents of fire are coming to the fore these days. Earlier, on April 18, four workers working in a fan box manufacturing factory in Bhavnapur police station area of Meerut, Uttar Pradesh were severely burnt in a massive fire. According to the information, the fire spread rapidly due to the explosion of a gas cylinder kept in the factory. The burnt workers were admitted to the nearest hospital for treatment with the help of local people and the rest of the employees and the factory owner managed to save their lives by coming out in time. The fire was so fierce that its smoke could be seen from far away.
At the same time, a similar case of suffocation was also seen in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh on April 3, when eight workers who had gone down to clean the well for Gangaur immersion died of suffocation.
