A major accident has taken place in Shahjahanpur district, according to the information, a car filled with wedding guests collided with a truck in which three people traveling in the car died.

In Shahjahanpur district of Uttar Pradesh, a car full of wedding guests collided with a truck, in which three people traveling in the car died and four people were seriously injured. A police officer gave this information on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Police (SP) Ashok Kumar Meena told PTI on Tuesday that people living in Abdullah Nagar village of Thana Kalan area had gone to Madnapur in a marriage procession from the locality. These people were returning home around 2:15 am on the intervening night of Monday-Tuesday when their car collided with a truck coming at high speed near Narsuiya village.
He said that on information, the police immediately reached the spot and sent the injured to the nearby hospital where doctors declared Ramdin (65), Neta (40) and Rajneesh (27) dead. Meena said that four people in the car were seriously injured in this accident, who have been sent to the government hospital in Farrukhabad for treatment.
Meena said that the driver of the truck absconded after the incident. He said that the police have taken the truck into custody while the bodies of the deceased are being sent for post-mortem.
